There are links to my active profiles in my bio. I keep it up-to-date. No, I'm not leaving DA, but I'm not going to be active either. For the past however many months, I've only logged on to fave a thing or two, maybe leave a simple comment, then vanish. Nothing holds me here anymore. Not even nostalgia.
More importantly, I'm staying afloat by taking commissions. DA has always been a shitty place to take commissions, so I had to expand to other platforms for that. Namely FurAffinity, there's a link to my FA in my bio.
And finally, I'm drawing things I enjoy drawing, including the really nasty stuff. Things I can't post to most places. So I looked around and found some places that allow the filth that I create. There aren't many, but one of them is SubscribeStar. Another link to that in my bio. Be warned that it is pretty nasty, but sometimes that's the point. Anyone who demands what artists can or can't make is just a dictator. Me and my wife put up with enough authoritarian censorship bullshit from Fidesz, the last thing we need is more authoritarian censorship bullshit from idiots on the internet.
Hey all, I'll be opening commissions. Me and my fiancee got hit with a bad case of the 2020. All her money was stolen. All we have left is our jobs and my emergency savings. Between work and sleep, we will both do commissions to rebuild our funds.
I'll draw pictures like the ones below for $50 each. Or I can do sketches for less, PM for details. I draw a lot of things, nsfw or sfw, please PM if you are interested.
My fiancee will draw anything for $5 due to the emergency. Her profile can be found here: RedCyclon
Anything helps, even a reblog. ;u; Thank you for reading, please stay safe out there.
(don't tell anyone it took me 10 minutes to figure out how to make a new journal holy shit eclipse makes me feel stupid)
anyway I ordered a new tablet cable! Turns out the old one still works and I can use my tablet...if I hold the cable at the right angle. there are bite marks on the cable so I know who the culprit is. well, there's 4 options, but they are cats so they are all equally guilty.
new cable is braided and I'm excited and I want to draw again because I keep seeing amazing Warframe fanart and I wanna draw all my frames and then feel bad that my art/ideas aren't as good as everybody else :D
and I also thought, I'm not doing commissions anymore, so maybe I can do art trades?? but only with very patient people. :'D I should be doing more art than video games, but I keep feeling bad about art and choosing video games instead, it's rough. maybe i can break the cycle with an art trade.
anyway comment if you're interested don't be shy
....can i get a version that's not fucking broken? i came here to appreciate art, and instead i just find myself battling a hollow website coded with empty promises and the tears of under-paid web designers.
i really had high hopes for Eclipse but the more I saw it, the more I realized it looks good on paper but performs like shit and provides as much functionality as wet 1-ply toilet paper.
are my comics even readable? maybe it's just me but my pages are only viewable in two forms: zoomed out so far it can't be read, or zoomed in so much you can see up the asscrack of individual pixels.
what's this "1 min read" thing on my journal? is this website really telling me how fast to read my journal entry? what happens if I keep typing? is it assuming I'm a fast reader? cuz I sure as hell ain't. and most importantly: what is the point?
anyway I have some stuff to post but I'm not really in the mood to post my art to a website that dictates how big or small my art should be, and I'm not in the mood to browse art when the simple act of scrolling somehow catapults me into the fucking fifth dimension.
and every time i hit enter i have to scroll down i do not like this.
the dingle at the top still says "1 min read" and I don't know why, it confuses me so I made a lot of line breaks till i didn't have to look at it anymore. I'm assuming the coders of Eclipse operate under similar principles: if you don't look directly at the issue, it is no longer a problem.
how are all yall handling Eclipse? yay or nay? glitches out the ass or operating smoothly?
ps is basic html still a forbidden magic or hath the coders deemed us plebeians worthy of its powers?
